Halloween props motion control sensor (power strip)

This auction is for a NEW motion controlled power strip/surge protector with 6 controlled outlets. The control includes a motion sensor which connects to the power strip by a cord. When the unit is plugged in to a 120v AC power source (and turned on), the controlled outlets remain unpowered until the sensor detects movement, then the controlled outlets receive power for a specified amount of time (after motion has stopped). The OFF delay of the controlled outlets is adjustable from 30 seconds to 30 minutes using a dial on back of the sensor.

The PIR sensor has advanced passive infrared technology, uses a Fresnel lens, and has coverage of 120 degrees, up to 300 square feet (not sure of the actual detection length). Sensor is powered by 12 VDC from the power strip.

The power strip input/output is 120 Volts, 15amps. The power strip has surge protection and is rated at 360 joules and has a max. surge amperage of 27,000 amps. A LED on power strip indicates correct wiring and ground and another LED indicates surge protection is functioning.

The sensor has a cord (similar to a phone cord – black) connection to the power strip. The cord is approximately 9.5 feet in length. There is a button on the front of the sensor to activate the sensing (on/off) and an adjustable OFF delay dial on the back.

The unit color is gray. The power strip has an on/off switch that contains a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker.

The sensor can be used in daylight (beware, some sensors sold won’t activate in daylight or ambient light…this one WILL activate in daylight) or total darkness.

Note: power strip must be plugged into a grounded outlet (3 prong) for the sensor to work properly. Unit has a “wiring” LED light that indicates whether the unit is plugged into a grounded outlet or not. There is up to a 2 minute warm up on the sensor after the unit it turned on or plugged in initially. After the 2 minute warm up, the motion sensing time delay setting takes affect – 30 seconds to 30 minutes, per your setting.
